Mattress Covers vs. Grounding Sheets
Besides the proprietary carbon-silver blend for optimal conduction, our mattress covers are superior due to their durability and proven effectiveness.
We started with grounding sheets almost 5 years ago and our customers loved them, but ran into issues with the durability of cotton and silver fiber threads. By nature, these threads are different densities and if you wash your sheets on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, there's definitely going to be wear and tear that's more noticeable than a normal sheet. There's no way around it, metal and organic cotton aren't even close to the same density and structure. Silver doesn't degrade as these metallic fibers are non-reactive, but the sheet as a whole definitely has a shorter lifespan than a mattress cover.
This is not cheap, we know any grounding product is an investment. Yes, many brands have lifetime warranties, and we do as well, but we built something so durable that we're certain you won't need a replacement for many years.
*By the way we still sell sheets, however in our new version we've designed the silver fibers to be more widely dispersed to prevent the aforementioned issues. It's not our most popular product as our mattress covers are extremely effective, but many customers like to bundle these two together and we want to make sure we can provide that option.
Pet safe?
Absolutely! Just like us, they are mammals too and can share the benefits of Grounding with us. Their bodies also run on electrical signals and often, their fur builds up an electrical charge in their body more quickly. Letting them sleep at the foot of your Grounded bed would be the same as taking them for a long walk outside.
No direct skin contact?
All grounding mattress covers, whether you buy from us or a competitor, are going to be superior in terms of effectiveness because they run on your body's natural humidity to transfer electrical charge between the earth and your body. Instead of direct skin contact, which leads to the most wear and tear on the surface of the grounding product, the cover can actually ground you from a slight distance due to the increased density of conductive fibers in its surface.
We're talking a fiber density of millimeters, when sheets have a density measured in inches - big difference. We don't just use silver fibers, but also carbon-graphite based fibers to ensure the entire surface can carry a charge rather than depending on your wet skin making direct contact with a silver fiber (remember cotton itself dries skin out and prevents conduction).
Dry skin does not conduct, try sticking a 9-volt battery against your skin, and then touch it to your tongue and you'll quickly see what we mean.

What about lighting storms?
